The Alumni Wall of Fame recognizes outstanding professional achievements of UD alumni. Pictures of the recipients can be found in the Alumni Lounge of the Perkins Student Center on Academy Street, Newark. The new Career Services Center also will highlight various inductees to the Alumni Wall of Fame.

Nominees must be UD graduates, hold or have held a senior leadership position, have made a significant contribution to further his/her profession and have maintained ties to UD.

Since 1846, the University of Delaware Alumni Association has strengthened the commitment of graduates to the University. The association is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of three officers, 18 directors and the immediate past president. Three men and three women are selected annually to serve three-year terms.

Nominees must be UD graduates and have a sincere interest in serving on a working board of directors and on one or more committees. The committees include awards, executive, finance, membership, marketing/merchandise/service, scholarship, outreach and travel. Though much of the work is done at the committee level, board members must be able to attend three meetings on campus.

The Outstanding Alumni Awards are presented annually to an alumnus and alumna for recognition of their exemplary work on behalf of UD and the Alumni Association.

Nominees should exhibit exceptional volunteer work on behalf of the University and/or the Alumni Association. Service may be one single act or a long record of participation.

The Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement honors University of Delaware graduates of the last 20 years who exhibit great promise in their professional careers and/or public service activities.

Nominees must be UD graduates and should be making significant contributions as demonstrated through tangible results, innovations, promotions and company or community recognition. UD graduates from the classes of 1981 through 2000 are eligible for consideration.
