Blue Hen high jumper, Annemarie Quinn, took the gold medal at the America East championships, with a jump of 5 feet-6 1/2 inches. During the spring sports season, the high-flying junior from Wallingford, Pa., claimed championships at the Towson Invitational and Colonial Relays meets, before placing 11th at the ECAC meet. Candy Cashell, of the Class of 1986, set the UD record for the high jump at 6 feet, 0.5 inches.
