Geis Student Research on Women Conference and Award
The Geis Student Research on Women Conference, sponsored by the Women's Studies Program and the Office of Women's Affairs, is a program designed to recognize student excellence in research. The Conference is open to all current graduate and undergraduate students, female and male, at the twelve member institutions of the Consortium. Acceptance to present at the conference will be based on excellence and relevance of the research to women and/or gender issues. All papers accepted for the conference are entered into the competition for the Geis Student Research Award. First place awards are $200, and second place awards are $150 in both graduate and undergraduate divisions.
