Letter from the Vice President

We are pleased to offer to you the "Official Student Handbook" for the
1993-94 academic year. As the Table of Contents on the following two
pages will show you, this publication contains information on
University Services for Students, University Policies, Dining Services
and Housing and Residence Life, Student Activities, a University
calendar for the upcoming academic year, a glossary of University
terms you need to know, a campus map, and a complete directory of all
departments and offices on campus. We are confident that you will find
this publication a most valuable resource during this academic year
and that you will refer to it often.

You will find that the offices in Student Life are dedicated to
providing services which assist students with their intellectual,
emotional, social and physical development. Embarking upon a college
career is an exciting and challenging experience, and the "Official
Student Handbook" is just one of the many ways our office can assist
you.
