Safety Poster Program

  • Poster Rotation Program

Safety posters relate to general safety concerns that can be found anywhere--in the workplace, at home, or by trade. Posters are colorful, eye catching, and available in two sizes: 8-1/2x11 or 17x22. The Posters which are available are rotated to participants on a monthly basis.

Posters used in this program are not available for loan or purchase outside of the University community. Commercial posters were purchased from the: National Safety Council, Krames Communications, BLR Business and Legal Reports, Genium Publishing, Coastal Training Resources, or Bongrde Communications.

If you would like to participate in the safety poster program, please contact Michael Shaw or Geri Foster or call 831-8475.

  • Campus Electronic Poster Program

The Department of Occupational Health & Safety has initiated a program using safety posters to help encourage safe behaviors and to improve overall campus safety. Each month an electronic version of a safety poster will be available that you can choose to print out and display if you wish. One of our goals at Occupational Health & Safety is to emphasize safety to as many people campus-wide as we can. The poster topics will be varied and many will be observances such as "Workplace Eye Safety Month" or "Clean Air Month". You do not need to return the posters as we ask you to do with the Safety Poster Rotation Program. We encourage your participation by displaying this electronic poster as a means to keep safety a positive goal before the University community.

If you do not have a color printer available and would like a copy of the poster in color, please contact Michael Shaw or Geri Foster or call extension 8475.
