Ionizing Radiation Safety Program

The University of Delaware Ionizing Radiation Safety Program is designed to provide a safe working environment for radiation workers while at the same time assuring compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations. The University Radiation Safety Committee governs the implementation of the program through the Department of Occupational Health and Safety and must approve the acquisition and/or use of all radioactive materials or machines capable of producing ionizing radiation. Further information on the program can be found below:

Questions regarding radiation safety issues may be addressed to William Fendt at WFendt@udel.edu or call 831-1434.
