Code Authority Liaison

The University of Delaware, Dept. of Occupational Health and Safety has been charged with many responsibilities. A major area of responsibility is to provide code research/review and to maintain liaison with the appropriate code officials. The University of Delaware Fire Protection Engineer/Fire Marshal can assist you with code questions related to Fire Protection and Life Safety. He also maintains liaison with the following code organizations:

  • Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission
  • Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office
  • City of Newark Fire Marshal
  • City of Newark Building Department
  • City of Wilmington Fire Marshal
