Chemical Waste Resources for Laboratories

Laboratories generate the largest amount of chemical waste at the University of Delaware. The majority of these wastes consist of spent organic solvents, solid chemically contaminated debris, inorganic acids and out-of-date or unwanted reagent chemicals. Improper chemical waste management may result in injury to University Personnel, damage to University Facilities and/or fines and enforcement actions from Federal, State or Local Regulatory Agencies.
