Academic Support Service Programs


The NUCLEUS Program recruits, retains and graduates academically talented underrepresented students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences and related disciplines and assists them in entering into graduate and professional programs and science-related professions.

The NUCLEUS Program is funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Undergraduate Biological Sciences Education Program to the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Delaware.

The NUCLEUS Program provides various services and opportunities to assist students academically, encourage professional development, and promote academic excellence.
