Schedule & Deadlines

APPLICATION

Academic year 2008-2009 (40 positions to fill); All positions for the 2006-2007 academic year have been filled.

January 18, 2008	"Pre-Select Application" materials due. "Pre-Select Application" available only to UD didactic students.
February 1, 2008	Pre-Select Applicants Notification Day
February 15, 2008	Postmark deadline for application materials
April 21, 2008	Applicant Notification Day
April 22, 2008	Official Appointment Day
May 31, 2008	Submission of facility information for remainder of internship rotations

Important: Applicants who receive a computer match DI appointment are responsible for accepting or rejecting the match by telephone or fax by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on the April 22, 2008 Appointment Day. See "Faculty" for the telephone and fax numbers of the Internship Director.

2008 Orientation Week will be held from Saturday, August 23 , at 5:00pm to Thursday, August 28, at 1:00pm.

COURSE SCHEDULE

The following are the rotation lengths for each rotation of the internship. The full-time option is Monday through Friday with the exception of the online class held on Thursday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 am Eastern Standard Time. The part-time option is Tuesday through Thursday which includes the online class time on Thursday.

Full-time
Orientation - 1 week
Clinical - 12 weeks
Food Service - 8 weeks
Community Nutrition - 6 weeks
Elective - 2 weeks
Total 29 weeks

Part-time
Orientation - 1 week
Clinical - 19 weeks
Food Service - 13 weeks
Community Nutrition - 11 weeks
Elective - 3 weeks
Total 47 weeks
