An Evening with Soledad O’Brien

Born to a Black Cuban mother and Irish-Australian father, Maria de la Soledad Teresa O’Brien is an

anchor and special correspondent for CNN: Special Investigations Unit where she reports on the most

significant stories across the country and the world.  She previously served as co-anchor of

American Morning from 2003-2007.  O’Brien is a graduate of Harvard, and a member of the National

Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
