Institutional Research Study:
National Survey of Student Engagement

During the 2001 Spring Semester, the University of Delaware participated in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) conducted by the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research and Planning. The purpose of the survey is to provide reliable and credible information about the "quality" of the undergraduate experience. This was the second year that NSSE has been administered on college campuses, with over 300 institutions participating. The NSSE project is supported by a grant from the Pew Charitable Trust and cosponsored by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Pew Forum for Undergraduate Learning.
