| We would like to invite you and your child(ren) to visit the University of Delaware to participate in the Infant Language Research Project. Our lab studies children of all ages (depending on the research question) and is open all year round. You and your child will remain together at all times while a lab assistant shows your child some videos, pictures, or toys, and we may ask your child some questions. Since most young children are not able to tell us what they find interesting or understand, we monitor and record where they look and any selections that they make. Language development is an incredible achievement, and your visit would help us to understand how this process occurs.
We enjoy meeting families in the community, and the parents who participate in our studies enjoy the time they spend with us. We schedule appointments at various times throughout the week, and hope that you and your child will participate at a time that is convenient for you. Only one trip is necessary, and an entire visit takes about 30 minutes. We are located in the Willard Hall Education Building, and have reserved free parking for you immediately behind the building.
If you would like to receive more information about our language studies, or are interested in coming in to participate with your child please call us at (302) 831-2073 or send an e-mail with the following information and any questions you may have:
