Brian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he was a student athletic trainer and worked directly with many of the Terrapin varsity teams. He earned his master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Delaware. In addition to his site manager job with Christiana Care PT PLUS , he is an adjunct faculty member of the athletic training program where he teaches KAAP 405 and 406 “Rehab of Athletic Injuries I and II” and is also a clinical supervisor for athletic training students. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy and clinical instructor. He has pursued continuing education with a strong focus in manual therapy and sports PT from The Institute of Physical Art, North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Neuro Orthopaedic Institute, Upper Extremity Active Release Techniques, The Gray Institute, Functional Movement Screen Certified, shoulder/knee courses from Kevin Wilk, and scapular dyskinesia from Phil Donnelly. Brian has also lectured on scapular dysfunction, differential diagnosis of the shoulder, soft-tissue dysfunctions of the functional pelvis, “Can you push through the great toe”, and “Restoring the Core Muscle Slings.”
