Phi Alpha Theta

Phi Alpha Theta, the international Honor Society in History, has a chapter on the campus of the University of Delaware.
With chapters on college campuses in all fifty states, as well as Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Philippine Islands, is one of the most respect honor societies in the country. Its student members are eligible for a number of prizes and scholarship awards annually.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Basic requirements: at least 12 hours in History with 3.1 or higher GPA in the major and 3.0 GPA or higher overall.
Students with a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.1 GPA in History are eligible to join. Non-History majors are eligible as long as they meet the minimum GPA requirements.
Only three credit hours of AP, online, or transfer credits can be applied to the membership requirement.
Initiation is held each spring for eligible students.
