1. It is 1810.  Two decades of revolution have recast the world.  Once again as a diplomat, you are called upon to interpret the course of the revolution.  Based upon the assigned documents, how is the U.S. government to be advised?  How has the revolution developed since its initial adoption of a constitutional monarchy and are these developments consonant with American republican principles?

 
2. Why was the National Convention opposed to the petition of Olympe de Gouges and the attempts of other women to secure political liberties in the French Revolution?
