Suzanne Austin

Suzanne Austin

Suzanne Austin is an historian of colonial Latin America who received her Ph.D. from Duke University. Her publications include Native Society and Disease in Colonial Ecuador (Cambridge 1991) and A Pest in the Land: New World Epidemics in a Global Perspective (New Mexico 2002). She is currently working on a study of colonialism and environmental change from a global perspective.
