Admissions – General Information

 Entering freshmen and transfer students may be admitted directly into the majors in Applied Nutrition, Dietetics, and Nutritional Science. Entering freshmen and transfer students seeking admission to the majors in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Health and Physical Education, Health Behavior Science, and Sport Management are admitted to interest groups associated with each major. Freshmen participating in the interest group are eligible to apply for admission to one of these majors at the end of the freshman year.

Transfer students are eligible after completing 12 University of Delaware credits, provided they have completed all the necessary requirements of the Interest area.

NOTE: Transfer students considering either ATI or HPEI should understand that these programs
are four year programs, no matter how many transfer credits they may be bringing in.  Both of these programs have requirements dictated to the College by their respective certification boards which require students to complete eight semesters of work prior to graduating.  Work completed at other institutions does not articulate with these programs.
