FRED RUST SCHOLARSHIP

A lifelong resident of Milton, Fred developed a love for ice skating while spending endless hours skating on the frozen pond of the family farm. This love of skating was rekindled many years later when he was invited to attend a UD skating exhibition. Through this experience, he began a continuing interest and commitment to the University Training Center. He developed a special interest in skaters who were pursuing a degree at the University while training and competing at the national/international level. To this end, he created an endowed scholarship that recognized students who have excelled both academically and athletically. Annually, this endowed scholarship will continue as testament to his love of skating and his commitment to the students who have devoted themselves to the pursuit of excellence.
