POLICY

Employees called upon to serve as jurors or legally subpoenaed as witnesses will continue to receive salary during periods of absence necessitated by appearance in court. Employees will keep their supervisors advised of probable periods of absence. In unusual cases, the University may request that an employee be excused or deferred from jury duty for a particular period of time.
