American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society sponsors Children Camps for children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their siblings. Camps are free of charge and located in Maryland and West Virginia.
ACS Camp Information

Camp Dreamcatcher
Camp Dreamcatcher is a summer retreat located in New London, PA for children whose lives have been touched by AIDS. The camp includes basketball and volleyball, as well as music and movement therapy, yoga and guided imagery. Reunion parties are held during the year, giving kids a chance to be together again. To date, children attending the camp have come from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. For more information visit: http://www.campdreamcatcher.org.

Camp Heartland
Camp Heartland was founded in 1993 by 22-year-old Neil Willenson to provide children impacted by HIV/AIDS with "the best week of their lives." Since then, we have welcomed hundreds of children each year to be part of our year-round community. Camp Heartland is a beautiful 80-acre Camp and Conference Center located in Willow River, Minn., 90 miles north of the Twin Cities and just a 45 minute drive from Duluth. Delaware Hospice Summer Camp - New Hope (Upstate and Downstate Groups)
A day camp for children ages 5-15 who have lost a family member following a terminal illness.  Mostly serves hospice clients.  No cost to attend.  Transportation provided.  Serves approximately 25 children with a volunteer ratio of one to one.

Family Resource Center, Catholic Charities
Two-week summer camp for those children who have a loved one who is affected by AIDS/HIV.  There is also individual and group counseling for those children who have lost a loved one by AIDS/HIV.
