Mission Statement
The Division of Special Program's three-fold mission includes coordinating technology-based, distance education initiatives within the College of Health Sciences, developing and delivering professional continuing education programs serving the global healthcare community, and establishing educational partnerships with healthcare agencies and corporate visionaries. Through various distance delivery formats, including web, CD-ROM, DVD, video/videoconferencing, satellite, and podcasting, the Division strives to meet the diverse educational needs of healthcare practitioners in the 21st century.
