Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering 

Research (MCEER)
 


DRC is a core member of MCEER, a multi-university

consortium that conducts research on earthquake loss 

reduction issues and strategies from a range of disciplinary 

perspectives. The MCEER consortium, based at the State 

University of New York at Buffalo, is funded by a 5-year, 

$10 million grant from the National Science Foundation. In 

addition to the World Trade Center study outlined above, 

other MCEER-sponsored projects conducted by DRC 

include the following:
