Bengino Aguirre
Benigno Aguirre is a senior faculty member of the University
of Delaware’s Disaster Research Center and a professor in the Department
of Sociology and Criminal Justice. He joined the DRC in 2001. He is heading
the USAR, the Rhode Island, and the World Trade Center NSF funded projects.
His publications and research interests include social control, collective
behavior, evacuation, sustainable development, and vulnerability.
