Hans Louis-CharlesGraduate Research Assistant BioHans is a PhD student in the Disaster Science and Management program at the University of Delaware. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago and of Haitian and Trinidadian heritage, he immigrated to USA as a young adult. He earned a B.A in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and my M.A in International Development from American University. Since graduation Hans has worked on millennium development projects in the Caribbean and higher education programs for at risk youth in North America. His current research interests focus on international response to disasters; population displacement; civil infrastructure systems and community resilience. |
