Laura BlackGraduate Research Assistant BioLaura Black is a graduate student in the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Delaware. She is working towards a Masters of Arts in Urban Affairs and Public Policy and is hoping to also complete her Masters of Civil Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Delaware. Laura joined the Disaster Research Center as a research assistant during the summer of 2008 working on infrastructure considerations for climate change. She is currently working on the UTC/DelDot Infrastructure Security and Emergency Preparedness Project. She has a particular interest in equity of transportation with changing land use patterns and tries to tie her interests in transportation equity in the research she does with evacuation planning.
