Benjamin JohnsonGraduate Research Assistant BioBen Johnson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 with dual degrees in Russian Language and International Studies. After serving in AmeriCorps’ Emergency Services Corps program in New Castle County, he worked as an EMT providing emergency medical services in Wilmington, DE. Ben began work at the DRC in the fall of 2008, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration at the University of Delaware. In his current role as a Research Assistant at the DRC, Ben has been working on the Transportation Resiliency Project. This project uses web surveys and transportation modeling to examine the effects of disruptions in transportation on the I-95 corridor. The project’s ultimate goal is to present its findings based on web survey results and social network analysis to stakeholders in the emergency management and services sectors including DEMA, Delmarva Red Cross and Delaware Department of Transportation. |
