Become a Volunteer

• Current Volunteer Opportunities - available through Blue Hen Careers

• VolunteerDelaware.org is a great resource which lists individual volunteer opportunities as well as group projects; updated regularly. Match your interests with local volunteer agencies.
  
  
• Become a Career Ambassador with Career Services!
  
  
• Attend the Volunteer Fair held each September. Approximately 50 organizations will attend and provide information about opportunities for service and career-related experience. This program brings together representatives from more than 45 non-profit organizations from in and around New Castle County who are looking for student volunteers to help them with their projects and activities.

• City of Newark/University of Delaware Nomination Form for Volunteer Service Recognition: Each year The University of Delaware and the City of Newark recognize outstanding student volunteers and outstanding Student volunteer organizations. We need your recommendations to determine which students and groups are making a difference to our community. (Self nominations are acceptable.) Please go to the Volunteer Nomination Form and return it by April 8, 2011 (Nominations are now closed for 2011).
