Registration has closed for Careers in Public and Community Service: Strategies for Success

To commemorate its 50-year legacy of education, research and service, the University of Delaware School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA) in collaboration with UD Career Services Center will host "Careers in Public and Community Service: Strategies for Success", a conference on Monday, March 19th for current students and recent graduates interested in the public service workforce.

Bringing together notable leaders and alumni from government, public policy and the public and private sectors, the daylong event aims to provide students across the University with strategies for gaining a competitive edge in their employment search while highlighting the diverse array of public service careers.

The conference is co-sponsored by the Career Services Center, College of Arts and Science, Delaware Public Policy Institute, State Chamber of Commerce, Laffey-Mchugh Foundation, Nemours Health and Prevention Services and the National Urban Fellows program.

Schedule:

Check-in & Set-up: 9:00am - 10:00am
Exhibitor booths begin: 10:00am through conference
Breakdown: 7:00pm

Registration deadline is March 5, 2012 - to be included in the fair booklet.

Costs: Registration cost is $400 per table and includes one table, lunch & parking for 2 representatives. Space is limited to 25 registrants, so register today!

Payment Information: We now accept payment online through Symplicity's secure payment system. Please have payment method ready when you register (MasterCard, Visa, American Express credit cards as well as checks* are acceptable forms of payment). Confirmation and invoice/receipt will be sent via e-mail after your registration has been processed.

*Make checks payable to University of Delaware and send to the Career Services Center using the address at the top of the invoice.

Cancellation Policy: Registration cancellations must be made by email to Stacy Purse scpurse@udel.edu. A $25 fee will be applied to all cancellations. No refunds if cancelled after the registration deadline.

• Post positions in the Blue Hen Careers database. Choose to hold interviews on campus after the fair and have applications sent directly to you, and more.

• Parking - is availalbe in the parking lot across from Clayton Hall Conference Center. There is no fee for parking.
  

*Note: If you choose to decorate your booth/table with balloons, ONLY MYLAR BALLOONS may be used in University of Delaware facilities.
