Campus Interview Program
Each year from October through early May,
approximately 200 organizations come to the University of Delaware to
conduct interviews with graduating students at our facility. The Campus
Interview Program uses a pre-screening process to allow employers to
select only those candidates who meet their hiring criteria. Interview
dates must be set a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.

Resume Referral
The Career Services Center maintains online resume books of current students,upcoming graduates and alumni seeking positions
which can be searched by demographic criteria such as major field of
study, degree level, etc., and/or key words specified by the potential
employer. The resulting matches can be emailed to employers. We try to
respond to requests the same day we receive them.

- Internship Program
This program includes field placements, internships, part-time and
summer employment. These career-related experiences are open to

Career Fairs
The Career Services Center offers a variety of
job fairs throughout the academic year. These fairs may be open to all
majors or targeted to a specific group of students. The following list
shares information on the students targeted by that fair and its time
frame. For more information on a specific fair, please call

- Fall Career Expo (formerly the Job Jamboree),
held in the early fall of each year, is open to students
and alumni of ALL majors and degree levels, and marks the beginning of Campus Interview Program as an informational
job fair. Traditionally, this is UD's largest fair drawing about 1400 applicants each year. Contact: Kristal Olowolafe, Events Manager (302) 831-8838 or email: kristalo@udel.edu.
- The Spring Career Expo provides applicants from ALL MAJORS and ALL DEGREE levels a chance to meet and interview
with
a number of organizations looking to hire students for full-time, part-time, internships, volunteer opportunities and summer jobs. The 2011 fair will be combined with the Summer Opportunities Fair and organizations representing summer camps, internship opportunities, and
summer jobs are also invited to attend. If you

- The
Law School Fair, held annually in September, hosts admissions representatives from more than 25
law schools including Rutgers, Temple, Villanova, Widener, University of
Pennsylvania, Penn State/Dickenson, George Washington, University of

- The Volunteer Fair is held
in September of the Fall Semester each year. This program brings together representatives from
more than 45 non-profit organizations from New Castle County who are
looking for student volunteers to help them with their projects and
activities. Child Inc., Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank, League of Women
Voters, Newark Arts Alliance, Catholic Charities, Girls and Boys Clubs,
YWCA, Ronald McDonald House, March of Dimes, and other organizations have

- The Engineering, Science, & Technology Career Fair is open to all
engineering, technology, and now science related majors from University of Delaware
to meet with organizations regarding full-time and summer job

- Health Sciences Career Fair
gives medical centers, hospitals,
institutes and rehabilitation centers the chance to discuss job

- 19th
Annual Metro CHRIE Fair is a fair
for our Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management students is sponsored by:

- Project Search: Careers for
Teachers is a job fair event which
provides teacher education (and other related) majors a chance to meet
and interview with over 240 recruiters representing approximately 100+

- Physical Therapy Career Day gives medical centers, hospitals, institutes and rehabilitation
centers the chance to discuss job opportunities with physical therapy

- Multi-Ethnic Career Development Conference & Diversity Career Fair, provides University of Delaware undergraduates from underrepresented and multi-ethnic groups from across all majors an excellent opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers, meet alumni, network with employers, and find internships as well as full-time and part-time jobs. Designed to engage students before graduation as they begin to plan and pursue fulfilling careers, this conference connects students with the resources, alumni, and employers to help them reach those goals. With a growing number of organizations interested in recruiting diverse talent, we have expanded the employer networking portion of the program into a Diversity Career Fair and Networking Event. With a full schedule of alumni panel discussions, keynote presentation, lunch, and career fair the 2011 Multi-Ethnic Career Development Conference is slated to attract over 200 student attendees. Student Organizations
At the University of Delaware, we have over 200 student organizations on
campus. These organizations are supervised by Activities & Programs
Office, the Center for Black Culture, Graduate Studies, Residence Life,
and Recreation Services. Please see www.udel.edu/RSO for a
list of current organizations on campus. Many organizations, especially
co-curricular, sponsor speakers with career related topics.

- Advertising in Career Fair books - on average, our job fairs combined attract over 2500 students each year. Career Services offers your organization the option to advertise in the career fair booklet given to students attend-ing the upcoming(only available for organizations registered for that fair)
- The UD Review, is our campus newspaper published during the Fall and Spring
