TEACH IN DELAWARE DAY & PROJECT SEARCH - 2011

Teach in Delaware Day and Project Search are Education job fairs sponsored by the University of Delaware BoA Career Services Center and the University Council on Teacher Education (UCTE). Both events will bring recruiters to campus to meet and interview prospective teachers, counselors, administrators and specialists for Fall 2011 vacancies.

TEACH IN DELAWARE DAY will be held from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center at the University of Delaware. Representatives from Delaware schools will attend this event to discuss Fall 2011 opportunities with candidates (the majority of these schools/organizations will return the following day to also attend Project Search). Teach in Delaware Day is open to UD students and alumni only.

PROJECT SEARCH will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center at the University of Delaware. This event will be attended by school districts and other related organizations from the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as from other distant states; it is open to students/candidates.

All students/candidates interested in attending Project Search must be pre-registered! Call Kathy Suiter at (302) 831-8570 or contact her by e-mail at hannah@udel.edu to request a registration form. The event is free for current UD students and alumni; a $10 registration fee is charged to non-UD affiliated individuals. School district representatives may choose to conduct scheduled interviews with students/candidates or may opt to share information about employment opportunities informally. Directions and Parking Instructions for Students/Candidates:

Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center:
Take I-95 to Delaware Exit #1, Route 896 North. Continue north on Route 896 and proceed straight through the intersection of 896N and Route 4. You will see the BCC immediately on your right. Parking for students/candidates is located in the lots in front of the building and/or stadium.
