- Campus Interview Program
- Alumni Mentor Network
- Attend Fall Career Expo (formerly the Job Jamboree) in the fall.
Network with employers and learn about career opportunities with their organization.
- Participate in on-campus interviews.
About 200 organizations visit Career Services each year to conduct interviews for full-time employment. Registration and sign-up deadlines are in early fall and spring semesters.
- Identify job vacancies.
Visit the Career Resource Center at Career Services for over 30,000 current job postings. Also, use national databases on the World Wide web.
- Research potential employers.
Use employer directories and company literature available at Career Services. Make a list of your "hot" prospects and contact them about career opportunities.
- Teacher candidates should attend Project Search.
During the spring more than 100 school districts from around the country interview teacher candidates. Call Career Services for more information.
- Attend professional association meetings.
Expand your network with local or national professionals in your career area. Contact professors in your department for more information.
- Attend other career fairs.
Stop by the Spring Career Expo, or any specialty fair including the
Agriculture & Natural Resources Career Day, Health & Nursing Sciences &
Physical Therapy Career Day, Engineering & Technology Job Fair, and the
Fashion & Apparel Career Day.
