Think getting into the UD was hard!
Each year nearly 4000 UD graduates leave the campus and enter the job market or pursue further education. For the 80% seeking employment this transition can be a daunting task. As UD parents you can HELP!
Click on the type of opportunity you have and a form will be provided for you to complete and forward to Career Services.
- Join the Alumni Career Network program as a parent mentor! Through this program, a UD student studying in your field will be paired with you for a day of hands-on learning or an informational interview.
- Internships - Provide the opportunity
to test a career and build their resume by offering a student an internship
during the school year or summer. For 5-20 hours a week students can learn
and contribute to your organization.
- Part-time and/or summer jobs - List job opportunities to help a student earn a few dollars and/or build career skills.
- Full-time Job Opportunities- List your
employer's job opportunities with the UD Career Center. We can offer several
different alternatives to identify great candidates for your job needs.
Helping students build career skills and obtain their first professional position is an important contribution parents can make to help the UD and our students.
