Special Programs for International Students

H1VisaJobs.Com: The Career Services Center has purchased (5) databases from H1visajobs.com that contains thousands of U.S. firms all over the U.S., in all disciplines that have offered H-1B jobs to international professionals. The databases contain employer information as well as contact name and address. To obtain the username and password, contact the Career Services Center (udcareers@udel.edu). The databases available to our students, include the following areas: Administrative Occupations (ADMIN-H1B); Business Management and Administration (BUSI-H1B); Computer Science and Information Technology (CS-H1B); Engineering (ENGR-H1B); Mathematics & Physical Sciences (MATHS & PHYSICAL SCI-H1B).

Internship Opportunity

Freeman ASSIST (Asian Students Summer Internship (Stipend)   The Institute of International Education (IIE) is accepting applications for* Freeman ASSIST*, which provides educational allowances to outstanding undergraduate students from East and Southeast Asia (Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos,   Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam) who are currently studying in the U.S. and who secure internships with U.S. not-for-profit organizations during the summer of 2006. The program seeks to facilitate greater interaction between young Asian students and U.S. not-for-profit and community groups by creating paths for sharing experiences and enhancing mutual understanding. Association for International Practical Training (AIPT)- works with the company and trainee to arrange visa sponsorship, required insurance and provide program support for individuals to complete on-the-job-training assignments in the United States. AIPT can also arrange work permits for students and professionals to go from the United States to one of 80 countries, and provide program support before and during the international assignment.   • National Society of Hispanics MBAs NSHMBA fosters Hispanics' leadership through graduate management education and professional development in order to have a better society. NSHMBA organizes an annual Conference and Career Expo for Hispanic students in the U.S.
