- 8:30-9:30am: Keynote Speaker: Penny Earley, George Mason University
- Running Red Lights While Racing to the Top
- Dr. Earley is Professor and Director of the Center for Education Policy at George Mason University; she has also been a popular speaker at previous MAEE conferences. As an expert in education policy, she has helped us understand the context for teacher recruitment and retention. With a new US President, administration, and emerging initiatives in education, we look forward to her insights and “translation” of the national political and educational landscape.
