Student Career Opportunities
What is SCEP?
SCEP is a program to recruit student engineers and scientists for summer, part time and/or traditional "co-op" employment. The goal is to provide meaningful employment related to your major and area(s) of interest and to offer a work schedule that is "flexible" and does not interfere with your academic schedule. As a full-time student participating in SCEP, you will be assigned a mentor who will assist in developing a work schedule and establishing personalized objectives.
"My experience with the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) has been one that I am truly fortunate and grateful to have. It has given me hands-on experience in my chosen career field before I graduate, in addition to providing me with a strong network and a mentor. One of the most unique things about being a part of SCEP is not having to worry about re-applying for summer internships year after year - because you are guaranteed a spot whenever there is a school break - with a competitive salary and automatic job offer following graduation!!! I strongly recommend the SCEP program to any student who wishes to get an "edge" on their chosen career path." - A. Donato '10
