Course Goals (in a nutshell):

       * Learn Problem Solving and Algorithm Development
       * Learn C++ programming, including but not limited to:
	     data types
	     control structures
	     functions
	     arrays, pointers, strings
	     linked lists 
	     classes and OOP concepts, including inheritance
       * Learn basic of using Unix

Note: Attendance is mandatory in both lecture and lab.
      Attendance will be taken.

      Three unexcused absences will result in a failing grade.

Grading:  50% Exams (15% Midterm 1, 15% Midterm 2, 20% Final)
          30% Programming Projects      
          20% Labs, Homeworks, Quizzes
