qpr command is only covered in the Appendix
of your lab manual (Appendix B, to be precise). The qpr command is not covered in Afzul
because it is specific to the University of Delaware systems. Afzul covers two different printing commands,
lp and lpr. You may omit those sections in your reading of Afzul (though if you
run your own linux system, or use Unix systems other than those at UD, you will find those sections
useful, since most sites do use lp and/or lpr.
vi to enter your assignment.
While vi is the editor that is covered in the lab manual, in the Afzal text,
and in lecture, you are also permitted to use emacs. Note, however,
that for learning emacs, you are on your own. There are many good online resources
for learning emacs, and if you stop by during office hours, I can help you find them.
I strongly recommend against using pico however for programming. I have said (or will say)
more about this in lecture.
