Lecture notes, CISC103, 11/03/05

I really would like to ask you to take attendance seriously.  It is
most discouraging to see attendance in the low 20s in a class with 36
students registered.

These folks were on time, or no more than 5 min late for class, so
they will get a "2" for class participation for today.  I appreciate very
much that they made the effort to attend and be on time.
