“An American Voice,” the third concert in UD's 2007-08 Master Players Chamber Series, is set for 8:00 p.m. in Mitchell Hall. The concert will feature internationally acclaimed vocalist Lawrence Brownlee, tenor, with Martin Katz accompanying him on the piano. Selections will range from popular opera arias to romantic cabaret favorites.

Call for Papers
The Geis Student Research on Women Conference held at UD on April 12, 2008 invites submissions by students attending institutions in the Greater Philadelphia Women's Studies Consortium who have done research on women or gender issues.

The conference is open to male and female students, at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Group-authored projects are acceptable. Faculty help and advice are assumed, but the paper must be entirely student written. All papers will be reviewed, and acceptance will be based on excellence and relevance of the research to women and/or gender issues. Past winners are encouraged to submit new work for presentation but are not elgiible for awards.

To submit a paper send cover sheet, self-addressed envelope, and paper to: Geis Student Research on Women Conference, Women's Studies Program, 109 Ewing Hall , University of Delaware, Newark, DE 19716 or fax to 302-831-4341.

Entries must be post-marked by March 7, 2008, or they must arrive in the office by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008.
