The purpose of CPAB is to serve as the advisory board to the professional administrator of the Center for Black Culture. The Board’s primary goal is to provide cultural, educational and social activities for the black community. CPAB will advise the administrator on what types of cultural activities would best appeal to the African-American students at the University of Delaware. In addition, the advisor will consult CPAB on matters as they may benefit or affect the stability of the Center for Black Culture. Finally, CPAB strives to be an instrumental force in providing support and leadership in the black community.
