Welcome to the University of Delaware Budget Office Website. The mission of the Budget Office at the University of Delaware is to provide timely and accurate information to the University community concerning academic and administrative resource planning and budgeting, in support of the University's mission to develop and maintain strong undergraduate and graduate curricula, and strengthen academic, research and service programs.

Activities in support of this mission include:

• Providing accurate and prompt reports and information to the University community regarding budgetary and other selected financial matters.
• Preparation of an annual budget for the Board of Trustees.
• Implementation and maintenance of the University's annual operating budget.
• Preparation of the request for funds to the State of Delaware.
• Development of budget forecasts, revisions, reports and analyses to support resource allocation and decision-making as requested by budget unit administrators and senior administration.
• Implementing budgets and funding for major capital and construction projects.
• Examination/utilization of advancing technologies to improve timeliness and accuracy of financial analyses, budget planning and development, and management reporting.
