Group Long-Term Care Insurance


Effective January 1, 2010 Prudential Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance will be our long-term care insurance provider. All benefits-eligible employees and their families plus retirees and their spouses are eligible to enroll for this voluntary benefit. You may enroll in this coverage at any time throughout the year; however, during this special open enrollment period, eligible active employees may enroll or increase their current coverage without submitting evidence of insurability.

Long-term care insurance helps cover the cost of care in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or in your own home. Though older people use the most long-term care services, a young or middle-aged person who has been in an accident or suffered a debilitating illness might also need long-term care. Prudential Long-Term Care Insurance features coverage options for you and your qualified family members at competitive group rates.
