Club Closing Its Doors

In the short time I have been here, I have come to know members and staff and will always think of the Club as a place of warmth and welcome. Unfortunately, as is explained in a March 30 UDaily article, the Club has long faced an operating deficit and will close its doors on July 1, 2009.

The Club has been a place for business, but for many of us has also been a place for family and friends. The beauty of weddings, graduations, celebrations, or simply of meals shared at the Club cannot be dimmed. We will each carry with us fond memories as we look forward with full hope to new opportunities, new discoveries.

I urge you to continue to connect with family, friends and colleagues over a plate.
