Join curator and UD alumna, Audrey Lewis, along with UD faculty, Wendy Bellion and Nina Kallmyer of the Department of Art History and Edward Larkin of the Department of English, for a day focusing on Edgar Allan Poe and the visual artists inspired by his tales of terror and mystery. This Saturday Symposium will be held at the Brandywine River Museum where guests will view the exhibition, Picturing Poe: Illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe’s Stories and Poems, and attend talks describing how Poe came to be one of the most widely illustrated authors in the world.
The cost is $35 per person and includes the program, lunch, and all-day admission to the Brandywine River Museum. Parking is free.
