The East Asian Studies Program recognizes 
the accomplishments of its students. 
Three different awards, sometimes with multiple 
winners in each, are given annually.
"East Asian Studies Scholarship Award "

One award of $250.00, to be given to a senior EASP major with the highest GPA in the major (must be over 3.25 after having taken 5 courses/15 credits or more in EASP) and with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.

"East Asian Studies Book Award"

Two awards of $50.00 each.  One is to be given to a junior EASP major with the highest GPA in the major (must be over 3.25 after having taken 5 courses/15 credits or more in EASP) and with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.  The second is to be given to a student who minors in EAST or EASL, with the highest GPA (above 3.25) in the minor after 3 courses/9 credits in the program, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
