Usually the product, a web of fabric, is measured in two dimensions, cross-web and down-web. In this presentation, the speaker will review her intern experience at Gore, and will briefly illustrate examples relevant to quality control. Presentation of Chunbo Fan:   Title: An Analysis of Pains and Gains of my Internship at Du Pont   Abstract: As an intern working in the Quality Management and Technology group in Du Pont, Chunbo had the opportunity to touch on a diversity of projects. In order to finish her tasks nicely, she took pains to learn, and took pleasure in the gains. She will give two examples of her projects, one about regression analysis for a fabric business, and the other about a calibration method for cut test.
