| Topic: | University of Delaware Graduate Statistics Program |
Abstract:
As of September 2000 the Statistics faculty and program at the University of Delaware was transferred to the Department of Food and Resource Economics in the College of Agriculture. The expressed purpose of the move was to re-establish the undergraduate and graduate programs in Statistics as well as to revitalize the services offered by Statistics to the University and surrounding community. The process of rebuilding the Statistics program at the University has begun. Moreover our new home offers many interesting possibilities for new directions for growth. In this talk I will discuss where the program is, and where we want it to be in both the short and long run.
