Intern Experience at AstraZeneca: Statistical Evaluation of Laboratory Data Results
Laboratory data, as an indicator of potential adverse experiences, requires careful evaluation when unexpected results are observed in clinical trials. Huihua Li was assigned the task of exploring insulin laboratory results from a large multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy study. A literature search provided some biologically plausable covariates to use if modeling was deemed an appropriate approach for evaluating the results. In this presentation Margaret will set the stage for Huihua and she will take the audience through the statistical methods and steps utilized to date to explore the results.
