Delaware Chapter, ASA Dinner Meeting: February 2004 Speakers: Huihua Li Statistics Intern AstraZeneca LP Margaret Minkowitz Director, Biostatistics AstraZeneca LP   Title: Intern Experience at AstraZeneca: Statistical Evaluation of Laboratory Data Results Abstract: Laboratory data, as an indicator of potential adverse experiences, requires careful evaluation when unexpected results are observed in clinical trials. Huihua Li was assigned the task of exploring insulin laboratory results from a large multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy study. A literature search provided some biologically plausable covariates to use if modeling was deemed an appropriate approach for evaluating the results.
