Title:   Using the Weibull Model to Predict the Future: ATAC trial .

Abstract:

Anna will talk about how her colleagues and she used the Weibull model to predict future results of one of the largest cancer clinical studies ever, and how well that worked.

Biography:

Anna is a statistician working in Clinical Development at AstraZeneca. In her 6.5 years at AstraZeneca, she has supported early and late oncology development projects, as well as regulatory defense activities in oncology and cardiovascular disease areas.

Anna received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg, Russia, and her PhD in Statistics from University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Anna is the Education Vice President of one of the AstraZeneca Toastmasters clubs, in which role she supports her fellow club members as they improve their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills.

All sandwiches come with your choice of any one of our special spuds or sides. French fries, Old Bay Fries, Garlic Butter Fries, Baked Potato, side salad, Vegetable of the day, Chips or a Fruit Salad. Add a bowl of hearty soup for $3.50.

Menu

  • Durango Chicken Sandwich $10.00: Breast of chicken, our Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, melted cheese, tomatoes, and a pile of thick bacon on a brioche roll. Of course we plate it up with our tasty, golden fries.

  • Salmon Cake $10.00: Eight ounces of fresh Atlantic salmon cake, full of Omega 3, spring greens, thinly sliced red onions and tomato, on a brioche roll with a side of bayou mayo.

  • The Newark Harvest $11.00: A mix of young Mesclun field greens, local Milburn Orchard apples, brandied cranberries, blue cheese crumbles and healthy walnuts in a light raspberry vinaigrette. Add chicken, grilled shrimp or a 6 oz salmon filet for $5.00

  • Jumbo Lump Crab cake: $13.00 : Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, NO Fillers, pan-seared until golden brown Served with a Creole-style mustard sauce.
